Hi, my name is Billy Amesz. 

This site is a way for me to share my journey and experiences. On the 5th of August 2007 i set off on a journey travelling around the world. I love to travel, and it has always been one of my big dreams since I was very young, so i am very grateful to now be living that dream.  There is something very special about going to places you have never been to before. To see and experience different locations, landscapes, people and cultures. Everywhere is so unique and there is always something to learn and discover. Travelling opens your mind to new ideas and possibilities, and expands your appreciation of the amazing beauty and diversity of this planet and all of its people.

Through my journey it is my intention to get a global view of the world. To get an unbiased perspective. To see the world how it really is and not through the filter which we call the media. To see the good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly aspects of humankind. We live in a rapidly evolving planet, and i think that the biggest shifts are still yet to come. I feel that a big part of my life purpose is to contribute in some way to making the world a better place.

I hope i can inspire others also make a difference however small that may be, and to pursue their own dreams, whatever they may be.
